Sway Calloway, host of Shade 45’s “Sway In The Morning” show, has officially been inducted into the National Radio Hall Of Fame.

The other week Eminem called for support for the legendary DJ, who was one of the firsts who gave Em his early radio broadcast. Campaigning worked well and now Sway Calloway can add this new title to his extensive resume. He shared the news on his Instagram, expressing gratitude to everyone who helped him to get to this point:

Thank you so much to all that voted. A LOT of folks answered the call. I can’t express enough how much I appreciate it. Thanks to my HipHop Culture, family and listeners from over the decades. From the World Famous Wakeupshow team with King Tech, DJ Revolution, Prince Ice, Carmelita, Joe Quixx, Fred Wreck, Moe Ali, Skyyhook, Frank, Adrian Miller) Also #SwayInTheMorning team (Heather B, Tracy G, Kelly Jackson, OQ, Dj Wonder, DB, Rich Nice, Mike Muse, BJ Stone, Reggie Hawkins, Paul Rosenberg and Eminem) Shade45/Siriusxm/Pandora team” I have always done it for the community and culture we have more work to do
