More details on the behind-the-scenes work on the recent SNL “Stan” skit became available.

Apparently, that was not a piece took long to make, on contrary, everything “came together really quickly”, according to the source that ET contacted. Reportedly, Eminem “was approached a couple of days in advance by SNL to see if he was available and it worked out for him to do it”.

While neither Eminem nor his management provided any comments, Devon Sawa, who played Stan in the original video, shared his praise to the skit and even more so to Pete Davidson, who delivered his own take on the obsessed fan.

“I think he nailed it. Some people don’t see some of the things that I saw. He did everything from the pencil blow to certain eyerolls. He really kind of copied me perfectly but also did his own thing and spun it his own way and I’m very flattered that I was in a music video that’s lasted so long”, Sawa told to ET on Monday.
