A Detroit choir, famous for appearing in Detroit 300 commercials, sang their version of Eminem’s ‘Lose Yourself’ at Ben Carson’s presidential run announcement Monday.
The audience inside the Music Hall in Downtown Detroit gave a standing ovation to the Detroit choir ‘Selected of God’ who sang the rendition after the National Anthem.
Carson is a Detroit-native known for groundbreaking neurosurgeries who was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2008.
He along with Rand Paul and Scott Walker made their presidential run announcements in Michigan on Monday.
