Royce da 5’9” spends days of isolation cooking new beats in Heavens Studios. We know that some of them go to Eminem. And now we know that some of them are inspired by him.
In his recent Instagram post Royce mentions than only Dr. Dre and he have a deep creative understanding of Eminem:
NOBODY else besides Dre understands Em creatively like myself …
He might be right. The beat he used to share is creepy and cartoonish at the same time, something well suited for a new Slim escapade. And it also has voices from Detroit TV news incorporated in it, the voices telling a story about an incident with a trespasser breaking into Marshall’s home. Everything is an inspiration for Royce.
