Rick Ross has Meek Mill and Wale signed to his label, so between that and his Platinum-selling status, he knows a thing or two about hip hop.

It certainly checks out when the Maybach Music Group founder acknowledges Eminem’s status in the industry. However, when he claims that he has found a young artist with the potential that equals Marshall’s, it makes people think twice.

Yet it is exactly what Rick Ross said about one of his new favourites, Just Juice. In a short staged snippet Rick Ross announces that he’s got a white boy, the next Eminem. And responds to his partner, who reminds that Eminem is one of the best rappers in the world:

But he was not until he had a hit record. Just Juice has a lot of potential to do big things. I saw a lot of incredible things. I saw a lot of different dope things. Of course, Eminem is one of one! We know that. I ain’t tripping. He most definitely inspired a lot of artists, and it was dope for me to be in front of somebody I felt potentially to be one of those.

Just Juice is not entirely unknown, to be honest. Since the beginning of his career, he has got millions of views on his freestyles, his very first mixtape, released in 2014, featured Statik Selektah. The second had a feature from Logic. If you listen to Just Juice, you might discover some similarities to Eminem’s style, but is it enough to call him the second Slim Shady?
