One of the most glorious Verzuz battles happened on April 20 and featured Method Man of Wu-Tang Clan, Redman, and references to Eminem’s “’Till I Collapse”.
During the battle, Redman was wearing a t-shirt with a quote from Eminem’s famous song from “The Eminem Show”. The lines where Eminem pays respect to other hip hop giants. Not all of them ended up on the t-shirt, but everyone who can recognise the reference knows how it goes:
I got a list, here’s the order of my list that it’s in
It goes: Reggie, Jay-Z, 2Pac and Biggie
André from OutKast, Jada, Kurupt, Nas, and then me
Eminem’s manager Paul Rosenberg was excited to see it and tweeted the picture with a request:
I want one of those @therealredman shirts from #Verzuz

It is a nice gesture from Redman, the rapper whom Eminem loves and respects. While Marshall wears shirts with classic hip hop album prints to familiarise his audience with hip hop roots, Redman wears the shirt with Marshall’s instant classic.
