June 18, 2010, marked the release of Eminem’s highly acclaimed album, “Recovery”. which has now achieved a new milestone by surpassing 3.8 billion streams on the platform.

The album made an explosive impact upon its debut, claiming the number one spot on the Billboard 200 chart. In its first week alone, “Recovery” sold a staggering 741,000 copies, solidifying Eminem’s status as a chart-topping force.

The success of “Recovery” also earned it recognition at the Grammy Awards in 2011. The album received nominations for both Album of the Year and Best Rap Album at this then prestigious event. Ultimately, it secured the coveted award for Best Rap Album.

Fast forward to 2022, and “Recovery” continues to demonstrate its enduring popularity. The album received an impressive 8x Platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). While having a status of iconic concept album, “Recovery” is Eminem’s sixth best selling album. It shows better success on streaming platforms being, for example, his second most streamed studio project on Spotify.
