Eminem’s impact was undeniable on Genius this year, as he ranked among the top artists, producers, and songwriters of 2024.
Genius’s year-in-review is here, and Eminem has secured multiple spots across their rankings. From being listed as one of the top five artists of 2024 to landing a hit song and album on the site’s most-viewed lists, Slim Shady’s presence remains as strong as ever.

Top Artists of 2024: Eminem sits alongside Taylor Swift, Kendrick Lamar, Sabrina Carpenter, and Billie Eilish at No.5.
Top Albums of 2024: “The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce)” earned a No.2 spot in the Top 10, right behind a release from Taylor Swift and above Sabrina Carpenter’s album. Tyler, The Creator’s new release sits at No.5, following the Billie Eilish project.
Top Songs of 2024: Eminem’s “Houdini” came in at No. 3, holding its own on the list divided between Kendrick Lamar and Taylor Swift.
Top Producers of 2024: Genius recognised Eminem for his contributions behind the boards, calling him “a veteran rapper whose much-discussed lyricism overshadows his solid beatmaking” and placing him at No.5 on the list where Top 3 are occupied by the Taylor Swifts production team (herself included).
Interestingly, for the first time in ages, none of Eminem’s lyrics made it to Genius’s Top 10 most-viewed of the year. Kendrick Lamar owned the category, claiming eight out of 10 spots, while Megan Thee Stallion and twenty one pilots filled the remaining slots.
Despite this, Eminem’s versatility and reach across songwriting, producing, and artistry continue to shine. 2024 proved that Eminem has a lot to offer on top of his already undeniable legacy.
