The former Oasis star is known for never keeping his opinion to himself. Seems as though he’s always ready to express his view on anything. His last aim was Eminem.
The feud between Noel Gallgher and Eminem started in 2005. Back then he called out Marshall and 50 Cent telling The Sun: ‘I despise hip-hop. Loathe it. Eminem is an idiot and I find 50 Cent the most distasteful character I have ever crossed in my life.’
Gallagher always feels free to speak in no uncertain terms. So in the other chat he said: ‘Eminem is a penis. He is just titillation for the middle classes.’
Nowdays, after 14 years, Galagher still hadn’t changed his mind. In his recent interview when asked about Eminem Noel said: ‘He is one of those guys that goes into rehab and then they sing about it for the next 20 years.’
Gallagher also added: ‘I have never felt the need to be the one of those fucking people. It’s boring. But writing songs about drugs is as boring as writing songs about coming out the other side of drugs.’
The former Oasis member said that it was his own decision to give up drugs. Once he woke up in the morning and realized that he’d been done with doing drugs and smoking. So he never needed to go to rehab-center — it is all about one’s mind.
‘I wasn’t planning on such a major lifestyle change. But after about two weeks I was like fucking much prefer this! Much prefer it. And then… I have looked back.’
Noel explained: ‘It doesn’t bother me. I can sit in a room full of people doing fucking mountains of cocaine — it doesn’t bother me in the slightest.’
