Two young Detroit rappers teamed up to record a hard-hitting, bars-heavy volume they will be proud of even years later.
The identity of Nasaan’s mystery album collaborator was revealed today when “Function” arrived at all main streaming services. Another Detroit talent, Young Roc, joined Nasaan in the studio. The only artist they invited for a feature on “Do You Got Moxie?” is Virginia-based rapper, singer, and producer Shelley FKA DRAM.
Nasaan remains concise; only one of eight tracks on the album goes over 3 minutes. But the potential energy is bursting out of these tracks.
With more music in the works and a new video set to release later today, Nasaan hopefully gets more traction and well-deserved attention from the audience and media alike.
