Three-times Grand Slam champion Naomi Osaka ave a detailed answer to a question about Eminem music.
A follower asked Naomi if she had a favourite Eminem song. The answer was evident from a screenshot Naomi posted: “Space Bound” from “Recovery”. The highest-earning female athlete of all time also added that she does not just listen to the song, she thinks of it hard:
I designed whole dream scenarios for this song and I would check in and out of it every night trying different approaches for my character that I made specifically for that universe. I might be biased but I think it’s a really good song.
This song and a music video for it directed by Joseph Kahn in 2011 is indeed a complex story open for interpretation that still provokes discussions about the message behind it. Perhaps, Naomi might have a chance to discuss it with Eminem later if her boyfriend Cordae, who received a high praise from Marshall last year, ever get to work with Em.
