“Carry The Fire” is a short film by Jason Goldwatch that is carried by The Alchemist music.
The film is a complicated jigsaw of the archive footage of the 1984 Olympics and the Olympic fire relay race, mixed with movie clips, animation, music videos and documentary shots, sometimes distorted as memories can be, and stitched together by Alc’s beats varying from hypnotic to triumphant.
This film is part of the bigger project that The Alchemist announced last week and gives a good understanding of what we can expect from Alc’s new album.
