A TV personality, cook, media mogul and first self-made female billionaire has had plenty of rappers on her show over the years. Still, Eminem is yet to accept the invitation.
Martha Stewart was never hiding her love of hip hop and is also a one half of the unlikely duo Martha & Snoop. Martha brought Snoop Dogg to daytime television in 2008, and later they hosted together a cooking show “Potluck Dinner Party”. She would like to expand her friend circle of hip hop stars, especially to connect with Eminem, but he remains unattainable, admits Martha to People magazine:
I learn a lot from my friend Snoop [Dogg], just about his whole world. Rap had always interested me. That kind of poetry really resonates with me. I listen to the words, although some of them might be pretty hard to take. Early on I started inviting rappers to my daily show. I had Snoop, P. Diddy and Usher. The only one that wouldn’t come was Eminem. I still have not met Eminem, and that is just ridiculous.
