“Lady Danger”, an animated series based on comic book series written by Alex de Camp, is set to be produced and starred in by Nicki Minaj for Amazon Freevee.
Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson of G-Unit Film & TV, Brian Sher, and Paul Young & Mike Griffin for Make Good Content will also serve as executive producers. The animation studio, Starburns Industries, has been announced as well, Deadline reports.
The series is set in the year 2075 and follows a government field agent who becomes Lady Danger, an afrofuturistic Agent of B.O.O.T.I. (Bureau of Organized Terrorism Intervention) tasked with fighting villains who threaten the earth and its inhabitants.
Executive producers Carlton Jordan and Crystle Roberson have written the series. Roberson is also set to direct a block of BMF for Fifty’s Starz/G-Unit. He has already produced various content across platforms, including the hit Starz series “Power”, which he starred in, executive produced, and directed. He also served as an executive producer for several “Power” spin-offs and announced projects in development, such as three “BMF” spin-offs and the British boxing drama “Fightland”.
