Is Eminem planning a return to Europe? Fans catch a promise in his acceptance speech for the record-breaking Best Hip Hop award at the 2024 MTV EMAs.

Though he could not be there in person, Eminem sent fans into a frenzy with a video message at the 2024 MTV EMAs, where he won his tenth Best Hip Hop award. In his classic Slim Shady style, he began by joking, “Hey EMAs, whaddup, you bloody wankers!” But it was the end of his message that had fans buzzing with anticipation:

Thank you, everybody… you guys are incredible, and I will see you soon.

It is a little bit unusual for a simple sign-off. European fans can not help but read it as a teaser for an upcoming tour — especially since he has not performed in Europe since the Revival tour in 2018. With Manchester hosting the ceremony and Eminem accepting the award at a European event, there is hope he may plan a multi-country tour this time around. Or at least the UK leg, as some vendors already sell VIP packages for Em’s upcoming shows.

Eminem’s last words, “I have to get back to work”, only add fuel to the fire, leaving fans wondering if new music and live shows are on the horizon. With a dedicated European fan base eager for his return, the prospect of seeing Slim Shady onstage again would be the ultimate reward for fans who have waited years to experience his energy live.
