With over 155,000 votes, Marshall keeps 20,000 votes ahead of the next contender, Duran Duran.
As was predicted, Em has finalised his first week as a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nominee on top of a fan poll and with over 150,000 ballots to his name.
In the first week of polling, over a million votes were cast on the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame website, and the top 5 most popular acts have established their positions. After a little bit of adjusting, the top 5 looks as follows:

2. Duran Duran
3. Pat Betanar
4. Dolly Parton
5. Eurythmics
