Excited fans hoping to see Eminem live will have to wait — his booking agent confirms no tour dates are set.
Rumours of Eminem performing started again and reached their peak in India, where fans and official media alike went into a frenzy, expecting a concert in Mumbai in June. The source was a leaked (or probably even forged) touring schedule. So, some Indian journalists have contacted Eminem’s booking agency, the Cara Lewis Group (CLG), who has set the record straight: no shows are confirmed in India or anywhere in the region.
All can safely assume the same goes for all other dates mentioned in that fake schedule. No Paris in April or Tokyo in May, and no three US dates in early spring.
While the most eager fans were planning trips and discussing possible setlists, CLG clarified that any official tour news would come only from verified sources.
Eminem has a massive following in India, making the idea of his first concert there a big deal. While this rumour turned out false, it has not stopped fans from hoping he will add India to his future tour plans. Until then, as the rest of the world, they will have to settle for blasting his hits and waiting for real news. The fans are hungry.
