Mysterious Kane’s encounters with the biggest players in the game have got an explanation.
In February, the veteran rapper got Eminem fans excited with a photo of them taken in the studio. Big Daddy captioned it with:
Chopping it up tonight with this great lyricist @eminem. We spread a lot of love in this convo.
And then, two weeks ago, Kane posted a photo with Jay-Z, once again withholding any explanation.
But finally, the Brooklyn legend showed his cards to HipHopDX. Big Daddy Kane is working on a documentary about hip hop, and he has already secured a Netflix deal, the publication says.
There is more to this project, informs the Golden era rapper:
I got JAY-Z, Eminem, KRS-One, Doug E. Fresh. I even got some of the battle rappers like Goodz Da Animal and Aye Verb, so it’s coming out real good. I’m supposed to do Common on Monday.
And as photos on Daddy Kane’s Instagram demonstrated, he indeed had a conversation with Common.
There is no much info on this project, except the title. The documentary is called “Paragraphs I Manifest”. The release date will be announced later. So far, it seems like Big Daddy Kane is still recording interviews.
