Anghami is the first legal music streaming platform and digital distribution company in the Arab world. Its data show Drake and Eminem topping the streaming market in the Middle East and North Africa.
Until recently, Deezer has been providing the most reliable streaming numbers in the region. Now Anghami presents year-end statistics in a manner similar to what Spotify does. But no matter where the data come from, Eminem is up there, on top.
Now, the streaming service with a more localised regional focus shares its data. According to Anghami, the Top 3 most streamed rappers on the platform in 2022 are:
1. Drake
2. Eminem
3. Travis Scott
On all lists artists are just ranked, their actual numbers are not revealed, but it still gives an assessment of their popularity.
