The NFL Draft rolls into Detroit this year, bringing the excitement of the next generation of football stars to Eminem’s home turf (and maybe even Eminem himself?).
The Detroit Lions have seven picks to bolster their roster, including the 29th overall pick in the first round. Trades are always possible so that these numbers could shift during the draft.
As well as the draft tickets are free, so is the entertainment. Detroit native Big Sean will headline a series of free concerts alongside the Detroit Youth Choir and Canton-raised singer Bazzi. Hungry fans can grab a bite at participating restaurants, including the legendary Mom’s Spaghetti.
But what about Eminem?
A photo on an NFL-focused social media account has fans buzzing about a possible Eminem appearance. While some suspect this might be an old picture, presumably taken in 2017, others are full of hope and think that Marshall might show up to support the players. Whatever it is, Detroit would surely welcome Slim Shady’s support for the incoming rookies. Do you remeber how he volunteered to play for the Lions himslef?
