Real estate and urban design blog network Curbed compiled a map of 12 locations used for the filming of “8 mile”, the movie that made the world familiar with Detroit urban hip-hop scene and its cityscape.

Adding some local knowledge to the research done by Movie-Locations.com they come up with a guide to Detroit of 1995 that is partly imagined, partly lost and partly immortalised in Eminem’s music.
