Eminem’s collaboration with Royce from “Music to Be Murdered By” has met a new streaming milestone.
With over 150 million streams on Spotify, it has become Em’s 59th song to earn this amount of streams. It is also the third most streamed song off the project, just behind “Those Kinda Nights” feat. Ed Sheeran (160 million) and, of course, “Godzilla” feat. Juice WRLD (1.37 billion).
Royce initially wrote this song for his own album, but Eminem liked it so much that Royce passed it to Em, allowing him to take control of production. He described the process later in the Billboard interview:
I gave it to him and he did his magic to it. He added instruments to it, he added his shit to it, murdered it and that’s how the blessing happened.
