LL Cool J’s foundation tossed him a rhyming gauntlet. Eminem responded with a relentless flow and even worked in a nod to Stans.

When a viral post claimed there is no English word that rhymes with “silver”, rap fans instantly knew who could shut that down: the man who has made “banana” rhyme with “orange”, Eminem.

Even LL Cool J’s foundation account joined in, throwing down the gauntlet: “Eminem, you have 24 hours!”

Marshall did not need anywhere near that long. He fired back with a rapid string of rhymes and even slipped in a shoutout to his Stans documentary:

Silver pilfer kill fer Gilbert’s still hurts steel shirts Bill Burr milf word off kilter no filter chill brrrr feel burn still slur will stir Trent dilfer Val kilmer Still third shield her he’ll squirt Steven Spielberg Lil twerp Wilshire She’ll purr Kill birds milk curd feel worth Real nerd Stans documentary I liked your film sir

He didn’t even have to try, though. Eminem already had “silver” locked down in the bridge of his track “Little Engine”:

My flow still a (Psycho) psycho killer (Killer)
(Nitro) Hi ho, Silver
Similes and idioms giddy up
