In 2010 “Recovery” became Eminem’s sixth consecutive album to land at the top spot on its first charting week.

“Recovery” spent a total of 27 weeks in the top 10 of the Billboard 200, more than any other hip-hop album since 2003.

Released on June 18, 2010, “Recovery” moved 741,000 copies in the first selling week and pushed Drake’s debut studio album “Thank Me Later” down from the top spot that it enjoyed a week earlier.

With a Grammy award for the Best Rap Album of the Year and a triple-platinum certificate obtained just the following summer, “Recovery” remains a turning point in Marshall’s career, the album many fans come back to when looking for support and inspiration.
