Marshall’s catalogue continues to defy time, with multiple albums rising up the UK charts again this week.
Leading the charge is “Curtain Call: The Hits”, which jumps to No.20 on the Official Albums Chart. That’s week 673 on the tally — yes, you read that right.
On the Hip Hop and R&B Albums Chart, “Curtain Call” climbs to No.19 (910 weeks total), while “The Slim Shady LP” is not far behind at No.22, now in its 395th week. The “Marshall Mathers LP”, which returned to the chart following its 25th anniversary, also ranks at No.37, stacking up an incredible 836 weeks.
Meanwhile, “Curtain Call 2” holds on at No.60 on the main chart and No.26 on the genre chart, and “The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce)” still shows life at No.26.
With five albums charting across two major UK lists, it is safe to say that Shady’s staying power remains impressive. Fans keep spinning the classics, and the numbers prove it.
