Lil Nas X and his country rap smash hit “Old Town Road” which features Billy Ray Cyrus has surpassed Eminem’s Lose Yourself for the longest running Hip-Hop song at #1. The single has now spent 13 weeks on top of The Billboard 100 beating The 8 Mile Soundtrack lead single by 1 week.

Lose Yourself which was released back in 2002 debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart the week of October 5, 2002, at No. 43. A week later, the single jumped to No. 18, and hit No. 1 on the week of November 9 and remained there for twelve consecutive weeks until it was knocked off by Bump, Bump, Bump by B2K and P. Diddy.
