Method Man dropped a major hint about a surprise collaboration on Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre’s highly anticipated new album.

In a recent live Drink Champs episode, Method Man revealed that he is part of the project, marking his second time working with the legendary producer.

He reminisced about his first studio session with Dre in the mid-2000s for a track called “Take The Heat”. Though the song never officially dropped, Method Man was grateful Dre didn’t release it, as he felt his verse wasn’t up to par. Now, he’s getting another shot—and this time, it’s for Snoop and Dre’s upcoming project, “Missionary”.

The legendary rapper revealed this when answering a question about a dream collaboration:

I already did something with these guys, but I’m just going to use it again. Snoop and Dre. Because every time I work with Dre, I feel like I need a do-over. The first time I was in the studio with him physically, I spit a verse, but it wasn’t up to par for me. So, Dre was gracious enough not to put it out. It kind of leaked anyway. The second shot I got is for the Dre and Snoop joint coming up. In case y’all ain’t know, Snoop went back in, and he got a lot of fire shit on there. Still, I feel like I could have done a little bit more. I’m always going to feel that way.

While Method Man remains his own harshest critic, saying he could have done even more on the track, fans are buzzing. This will be his first official collaboration with Dr. Dre, and with a Wu-Tang legend on the mic, expectations are sky-high.

“Missionary” is shaping up to be straight fire, with another treat — Eminem is confirmed to feature on a track with Snoop Dogg. With Method Man, Eminem, and Snoop all on the same project, the album is already a must-listen for any hip hop fan.
