On Wednesday Eminem’s track “Godzilla” from his latest album “Music To Be Murdered By” was awarded a Gold Single certificate from Music Canada.
This is an institution that administers the gold/platinum awards program for best selling recordings in Canada. To get certified as a Gold Single a track has to have 40,000 units sold in Canada. However, as “Godzilla” has not been released as an official album single, it only counted downloads and streams.
