New Video: How it all started: Gin and Juice by Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg

Country Star HARDY gets schooled by Snoop Dogg and Dre in “Gin & Juice” short film.

In an unexpected crossover, HARDY teams up with Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre for a “Gin & Juice” short film promoting their new premium spirits line, Gin & Juice By Dre and Snoop. The film was released in tandem with HARDY’s remixed version of Snoop’s iconic 1994 single, “Gin & Juice (Another Shot From Dr. Dre)”.

The short film is a celebration of the pre-mixed gin and juice concoction. Set in the prohibition era, it features HARDY and actress Nicola Peltz Beckham trying to sway Snoop to try new things and getting from Dre the idea of adding “juice” to the mix. This, according to Dre, might be a hit with the ladies.

The film culminates with HARDY performing his hard-hitting remix of “Gin & Juice,” a track that debuted last month.

For HARDY, this entire experience has been surreal. He describes it as a dream come true, hanging out with Snoop and Dre, two of the most respected figures in hip hop history. In his official statement, HARDY says:

The entire ‘Gin & Juice’ process has been a dream for me. I recorded the song and in a few short weeks I was on set with Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg. It didn’t feel real until I showed up and I saw the names on the trailers. I spent two days with them and I can honestly say they are two of the coolest, most genuine people and they made me feel right at home. I am so thankful for the experience and I’m looking forward to hanging with those guys again.

This short film serves as a major promotional push for Gin & Juice By Dre and Snoop. The pre-mixed drinks come in four flavors – Apricot, Citrus, Melon, and Passionfruit – with more additions expected later this year.

The “Gin & Juice” collaboration is a unique and entertaining way to introduce a new product. It’s a win for Snoop and Dre’s business venture, a dream come true for HARDY, and a nice surprise for fans of both hip hop and country music.
