During his recent appearance in a morning show, 50 Cent allowed some details about “Remember the Name”, a collaboration with Ed Sheeran and Eminem, to make a slip. Apparently, musicians were not even on the same continent while recording the track and have never had a session together.
Ed Sheeran started a mail chain sending his part of the record to Eminem and asking to add Eminem’s vocals to the chorus and to record a verse. Eminem did just that but he cut out his verse from the record that he sent to 50 Cent. “So I had no idea what he said,” admits 50 Cent in his interview. Well, Eminem knows how to keep his cards close to the chest.
