DaBaby has more controversies listed on his Wikipedia page than studio albums. However, solid hip hop influences, strategically selected guest features, and confidence made him a prominent figure in the industry.

Now DaBaby feels invincible and puts himself on the same level as Eminem and higher than J.Cole and Kendrick Lamar. During his recently published conversation with Math Hoffa, the rapper from Charlotte talked about living his truth in his music and refusing to exploit his personal circumstances for success. Then he arrived at an unexpected point:

You can produce the beat on and off. I go Eminem level on it! You gotta go one of them to fuck with me. Kendrick Lamar, J.Cole… Aint’ too many more others. I don’t want to disrespect nobody, but boy, raise your hands! I’m like that for real, I don’t gotta talk about nobody else though.

DaBaby’s love and respect for Marshall and 50 Cent is well documented. He shouts them out, he bumps the music. Now he feels as powerful as them and is ready to take down the most revered lyricists of the generation. What do you think about DaBaby’s claim?
