Billie Eilish is not afraid of Eminem anymore. Should we expect collab?

Billie Eilish, fresh off announcing her new album “Hit Me Hard And Soft”, Eilish did a surprise DJ set on one of Coachella’s smaller stages this Saturday. She previewed a handful of new songs from her upcoming album. Se also surprised the crowd by including none other than Eminem’s iconic track “Lose Yourself” in her mix.

This is a significant moment considering Billie’s past confessions. Some years ago, Eilish revealed in an interview that one of her top fears as a kid was Slim Shady. She admitted: “I was scared of Eminem. My whole life. Always”.

Well, it seems those fears are a thing of the past. Now, Billie is confidently dropping Em’s music on a stage meant for her own.

Of course, since that early interview, Eminem has come up with a response – shouting out Eilish in a verse of one of his songs.

In “Alfred’s Theme” from “Music to Be Murdered By”, the lyrics read: “Homicidal visions when I’m spitting like this / But really I’m just fulfilling my wish of killing rhymes which is really childish / And silly, but I’m really like this, I’m giving nightmares to Billie Eilish”.

Has his response since helped Eilish stop being so scared of him? Who knows. But now Billie plays his music on the night that is all about her and feels just great. Speculation is swirling that Billie’s newfound ease might be due to a secret collab with Slim Shady on his upcoming album. Is a genre-bending Eminem-Billie track on the horizon?

While there’s no concrete evidence, the timing is interesting. Also, the potential for this collab is massive. Imagine Billie’s haunting vocals meeting Eminem’s razor-sharp rhymes – it could be explosive!
