“The Marshall Mathers LP” and “The Eminem Show” have re-entered the UK Hip Hop & R&B rankings, putting all of Eminem’s first three albums back on the chart.
Eminem’s catalogue is on the rise in the UK. This week, two more of his classic albums re-entered the Official Hip Hop & R&B Albums Chart. “The Marshall Mathers LP” landed at No. 31. At the same time, “The Eminem Show” followed at No. 33. They join “The Slim Shady LP” at No. 22 and “Curtain Call: The Hits” at No. 29, giving Eminem four albums in the Top 40.
All four records are former No. 1s, and the movement shows a renewed appetite for Em’s earliest projects. Meanwhile, on the broader Official Albums Chart, only his two greatest hits compilations remain present. “Curtain Call: The Hits” slipped from No. 23 to No. 28 in its 683rd week, while “Curtain Call 2” dipped to No. 65 in its 158th week. Neither appears close to dropping off, showing how firmly they have taken root on the UK charts.
