Marshall’s monthly audience reached 73.5 million listeners on January 14. He overtook Mariah Carye, whose audience predictably shrinks once the Christmas holidays are over. Also, he left behind Dua Lipa, a pop star who showed consistently good streaming performance and released her new studio album not long ago. Yet still, a veteran rapper has more unique users tuned in to his catalogue over the recent 30 days than her. Marshall has a solid chance to rise at least one point higher, overtaking Sia, as the gap between them is about 300,000 users, and Sia is riding a negative trend now.
With 80.6 million followers, Eminem ranked No.7 on Spotify in this category. He is the second most followed rapper on the platform after Drake, who sits at No.6.
