Eminem and Paul Rosenberg marked Shade 45’s 20th Anniversary with an engaging recap special, touching on future projects, Grammy predictions, and candid thoughts on industry icons.
On a special, five-hour-long Shade 45 20th Anniversary broadcast, they reflected on past achievements and teased exciting projects in the works. The conversation covered everything from Grammy predictions to potential new albums.
Eminem and Paul expressed their admiration for Cardi B, praising her fearless authenticity. “I love Cardi B”, Eminem said, with Paul adding, “She does not give a fuck. Not one”.
As the 2025 Grammys loom, Eminem tipped his hat to Kendrick Lamar:
It’s very stiff competition. Kendrick is gonna sweep that shit. He’s going to win and he should.
Paul echoed the sentiment, adding:
Kendrick should win some awards, and I’m not talking about the categories [Eminem] is in. Let’s see what happens.
The duo also highlighted upcoming Shady Records projects, with releases from Westside Boogie, Ez Mil, and GRIP on the horizon. Eminem jokingly addressed the demands for new music, saying:
How much work do you want me to do here? 50 [Cent] album, a Bad Meets Evil album, Encore 3. Encore 2? There’s no 2. Or just go straight to 3?
When asked about a collaboration album with 50 Cent, Eminem admitted:
That would be great. We just gotta stop bullshitting and do it. I would never say it’s not possible.
Paul Rosenberg was equally enthusiastic, saying:
I would love to hear it, so whenever you guys are ready, we’re putting it out.
Em also addressed the potential “Encore” had before a sudden leak ruined Shady’s plans:
Encore could’ve been as good as “The Eminem Show” if it hadn’t been leaked.
From discussing the possibility of being killed by Mike Tyson to having an extensive library of his own notebooks, Eminem lets listeners in on some personal matters that are precious for every fan to learn.
Stay tuned for the full interview coming soon on Shade45. It is a celebration of hip hop history with a glimpse into its exciting future.
