It is a big week for Eminem in the UK as five of his albums are charting, with “The Eminem Show” and “The Marshall Mathers LP” making a comeback.
Eminem’s music never goes out of style. Five of his albums are charting in the United Kingdom this week, an impressive feat even for a legend like him. Even more remarkable is that two of those albums — “The Eminem Show” and “The Marshall Mathers LP” — just re-entered the charts.
Between the two, “The Eminem Show” made a stronger comeback, reappearing at No.31 on the Official Hip-Hop and R&B Albums chart. Close behind, “The Marshall Mathers LP” finds its way back onto the same list at No.33.
Meanwhile, Eminem continues to hold multiple spots on the chart, with “Curtain Call: The Hits” making the biggest leap of the week, jumping from No.30 to No.19. His latest album, “The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce)”, also gained ground, moving from No.23 to No.32.
With 896 weeks on the Official Hip-Hop and R&B Albums chart, “Curtain Call” remains Eminem’s longest-charting project, showing no signs of slowing down. “The Marshall Mathers LP” follows closely behind with 827 weeks, while “The Eminem Show” has now surpassed 650 weeks.
Right now, “Curtain Call” is leading the charge for Eminem, ranking on three different UK charts and climbing higher than any of his other albums on all of them. Even “Curtain Call 2” holds strong, appearing on multiple tallies inside the Top 40.
With a chart presence like this, Eminem proves the universal appeal of his catalogue, which continues to impact generations. It’s not like we had any doubt, anyway.
