Fresh off releasing his new album, “Lonely At The Top”, Joey Bada$$ took over Eminem’s Shade45. With him running the boards, DJ WhooKid couldn’t resist asking about Joey’s own taste in music, and especially, about the role Eminem’s catalogue plays in his world.

Joey surprised some listeners by naming “Infinite”, Em’s independent debut, as his first pick. “That one had me in the clutch when I was coming out, at 17-18”, he explained. Joey added “The Slim Shady LP” as another favourite, giving Em his flowers: “Those are my favourite bodies of work from Em. Shout out to Em. That’s a GOAT. That’s a Rap God right there. Salute. I’ve never met him”.

DJ WhooKid was quick to jump in, hinting that he would love to fix that. So maybe fans won’t have to wait long before Joey and Em finally cross paths, and who knows, perhaps even share a track.
