Not as a featured artist and not as a collaborator, but Tee Grizzley’s song “Covid” was interpolated on Eminem’s “Gnat”.
Tee Grizzley released “COVID” in June on his new album “The Smartest” as a collaboration with Lil Baby. Now you can hear it interpolated on new Eminem’s single that was dropped as a video on the same day with his new surprise B-Side album.
“Gnat” has “Covid” woven in it as a metaphor for spreading both disease and talent. Even on the music level, as you can recognise the sequence from Tee Grizzley’s track.
Not that long ago Tee dissed Marshall and then got upset when he learned that Eminem had decided not to invite him for a feature. Now it is evident, that Marshall still keeps an eye on Tee Grizzley, even if the young rapper does not quite have a grasp on how to position himself with the lyrical genius.
