Machine Gun Kelly Blames Beef With Eminem For His Downfall

Not as intensely as he used to do before, Eminem goes after MGK on his newest “Music To Be Murdered By – Side B”.

On the “Gnat” chorus Marshall raps:

They come at me with machine guns
It’s like trying to fight off a gnat

It is not just a hidden reference to MGK, in this metaphor, Em bundles him together with many other adversaries who try to challenge a Rap God. The futility of their attempts is illustrated by that bar.

On “These Demons” Eminem raps about those

Who attempt to diss Hailie

Famously, Em’s beef with MGK started after the young rapper had been disrespectful to Marshall’s daughter Hailie. However, he was not the first; the similar misstep from Ja Rule also resulted in a vicious conflict.

These shots are not meant to kill MGK, he is not an opponent but the figure of speech now, a cautionary tale, a byword for those who are not careful around Marshall and his family.
