Suspended Tweet Might Be Indication Of New Eminem Album Cover Authenticity

Twitter deletes posts with Eminem’s MTBMB Deluxe Edition cover, citing “Infringing Album Artwork” as a reason.

Today one of Eminem fans from Germany said that the social network suspended his tweet about the alleged MTBMB Deluxe Edition cover leak illustrated by its photo.

The e-mail from Twitter informed them that the tweet was withheld because of “Infringing Album Artwork”.

This action could be the reaction to a report from the label or Eminem’s management and might indicate this artwork authenticity.

ePro team analysed this artwork meticulously, and it suffices to say that it does not look like home-cooked Photoshop manipulation. Graphic designers with whom we consulted, confirmed that lines of blood could not be cut out from a red background and transferred to a grey canvas that clean, without keeping any traces of their previous surroundings.

There is only one thing that does not feel quite right – this album cover does not bear worn out marks on the case around the vinyl disc inside, as it was on the original MTBMB artwork.

Overall, this new cover art does not seem fake and might be designed, for instance, as one of the options, as a draft. There were dozens of them created before selecting the right one for the final print. MTBMB designer Mike Saputo posted several alternative versions of the album artwork, and this leaked cover might be one of them.
