“This Is…” is a playlist that Spotify combines to introduce and represent key artists. Together with the number of followers, total streams, and monthly listeners, the number of likes to this playlist gives a good idea about an artist’s popularity. Eminem is doing just fine, as expected.

“This Is Eminem” recently hit the milestone of 3 million. To put this number in context, we checked “This Is…” playlists for each of the artists from the Top 10 most streamed Spotify artists. Currently, this Top 10 (by lead credits only) looks like that:

1. Drake — 53.2 billion
2. Bad Bunny — 49.3 billion
3. Ed Sheeran — 39.7 billion
4. Taylor Swift — 38.3 billion
5. The Weeknd — 37.4 billion
6. Justin Bieber — 33.9 billion
7. Ariana Grande — 33.6 billion
8. Eminem — 31,1 billion
9. Post Malone — 30.9 billion
10. BTS — 30.4 billion

When these ten get rearranged according to the number of likes on their official playlists, BTS flip the order and take a lead, and Justin Bieber drops down letting Eminem overtake him. Otherwise, the order is quite consistent with their streaming ranking:

1. BTS — 7.2 million
2. Ed Sheeran — 5.2 million
3. Bad Bunny — 4.7 million
4. Drake — 3.6 million
5. Taylor Swift — 3.5 million
6. The Weeknd — 3.3 million
7. Ariadna Grande — 3.1 million
8. Eminem — 3 million
9. Justin Biber — 2.8 million
10. Post Malone — 2.3 million

Marshall might have the eighth most-liked official Spotify playlist, but mind you, this is a cross-genre ranking. When we look at the numbers among hip hop artists, both most streamed and most impactful, we see that Em’s and Drake’s numbers are beyond the reach of any of their fellow hip hop artists. Look how many likes they have on their Spotify playlists:

Drake — 3.6 million
Eminem — 3 million
Juice WRLD — 1.3 million
Travis Scott — 1.2 million
Kendrick Lamar — 1.1 million
Khalid — 1 million
Kanye West — 0.8 million
Nicki Minaj — 0.7 million
Lil Uzi Vert — 0.5 million
21 Savage — 0.4 million
Lil Wayne — 0.3 million
Jaz-Z — 0.2 million
