Marshall’s collaboration with British pop star Ed Sheeran has earned a significant milestone of 800 million streams on Spotify.
“River” has become Em’s 13th song to reach this number. It is also the most streamed track from “Revival”, one of only three numbers from the album that have earned over 100 million streams.
Slandered by critics, just as they slandered the entire “Revival” album, “River”, however, has had good chart performance. The song reached number one in the United Kingdom, making it Eminem’s ninth number one and Sheeran’s fifth in the country. It also made it to number one in Austria, Norway, Scotland and Sweden. In the US, though, it didn’t rise above No.11 on the Billboard Hot 100.
