Years after celebrating his divorce, Dr. Dre’s relationship status is no longer a mystery. The Valley reality star Michelle Saniei publicly acknowledged their relationship and spoke with Andy Cohen about what connects her to the hip hop legend.
Rumours confirmed
The confession came on Watch What Happens Live, when Andy Cohen asked her about the rumours that have been circulating for months. Michelle chose her words carefully, but there was no other way to interpret what she had said. They are dating.
“He’s a wonderful man, and we are spending a lot of time together”, Michelle said. As for how they met, the process seemed familiar to many. No celebrity dating apps, no blind dates, just an off-hand chance to come across someone special in your extended friend circle. “We met through our mutual friend”, the 37-year-old celebrity revealed. “Very natural connection, very organic. It wasn’t even a set-up. We just happened to meet, and we clicked”.
Andy was curious about what exactly made her click with the 61-year-old hip hop billionaire, and Michelle pointed to Dr. Dre’s personality. “I love people who are very positive and have good energy, and that’s what he is”.
What Dr. Dre is not is a fan of her starring in a TV show about upper-middle-class reality veterans and influencers navigating adult life in the suburbs. He just does not watch The Valley. In her turn, Michelle is not in a hurry to introduce Dre to her 6-year-old daughter, Isabella Bunny. Andy was slightly surprised by this one, as the rumours of the luxury real estate agent and Dre dating became public in April.
An interrupted date
The first photo of the pair leaving the Nobu restaurant together appeared on a gossip page in late April of 2026. However, the outing attracted even more attention when The Game unexpectedly got involved. The rapper was presenting his son with a new car when he pulled his former mentor into the celebration, despite spending recent years showing him blatant disrespect.
The video of the encounter went viral and while some bought the headline of “Dr. Dre Links Up with The Game”, many noticed how strained the interaction appeared and spotted a female figure in the background. No official confirmation of Dr. Dre’s new relationship came at that time. Now, there are no more secrets. Dr. Dre has found a woman whose company he enjoys. Although they are not interested in putting a label on their relationship at the moment, it is, after all, a relationship.
