In September this year, Eminem entered the Top 10, replacing legendary Led Zeppelin in this ranking. The gap between his sales and Elton John’s numbers back then was 1.53 million equivalent album sales. So, it took Em three months to close the gap and rise in this prestigious ranking.
Elton John has sold around 850,000 EAS over the same time and had to step down to No.10. Frank Sinatra occupies the next position, and the gap between him and Eminem is very sizeable.
