The popularity that “Mockingbird” enjoys currently gets reflected in official certification.

Yesterday, the British Phonographic Industry certified the single double platinum. It took “Mockingbird” 14 years to get its first platinum status in the UK, and only four to reach a 2x Platinum level.

Of course, we can contribute this achievement to a recent trend that increased the song’s popularity and brought it to the charts. “Mockingbird” has been charting on Spotify since October 15 for the first time in history and gains 2-2.5 million streams on the platform daily.

On the Official Chart UK, this “Encore” single made a triumphant return after 17 years of absence. The song entered the song chart in mid-November and is still there this very week.
