Following Dr. Dre’s fiery public announcement about Marshall’s upcoming release, Eminem shows photos from the studio with his closest friends and collaborators.
Dre mentioned in the Kimmel studio that Em was going to play him the final version of the album the next day. And it seems like this is exactly what happened.
In a familiar setting of Shady’s record studio, we can see Dr. Dre, Mr. Porter, Royce 5’9, The Alchemist, and Shady Records’ newest signee, Ez Mil, side by side with Eminem, who looks proud of his latest work. Marshall captions the photos with an exciting message:
Nuthin 2 see here… plenty to hear!!!
These photos came out just a couple of days after Dr. Dre made the announcement all fans had been waiting for years. Visiting the Kimmel show on the day of his Walk of Fame Star induction, Dre said on live television:
The album is coming out. I’ve got songs on it, and it’s fire. I’m actually going to hear the entire album for the first time tomorrow. He holds his music close to his chest, so I have not heard everything. I have not even heard everything complete that I’ve done, but I’m gonna hear it, and he’s putting out an album this year. There are things on there that I have to mix that I’ve done, but I’ve got a chance to hear the album in its entirety.
So, as we can see now, Dr. Dre and some of Marshall’s closest allies came together in the studio. And if it was not for listening to Em’s album, what else?
This is not a drill; it looks like the rollout is happening. For the first time in seven years, we had an announcement before the album drop, we have a promo from Em, we have something to look forward to with confidence, and we are justifiably excited after four years of living in the dark, feeding on hope.
Let the album rollout commence!
