Marshall is a connoisseur of masterful hip-hop art of all times and sorts. He never misses to praise something as worthy as Lil Wayne’s recent album “Funeral”.

During the recent interview, Eminem had a chance to hail the author of these art pieces directly:

Marshall: I was gonna say, yo, salute! These last couple albums man you’ve been fucking murdering shit […] Yeah, man, yeah, I was gonna say, man, I never got a chance to tell you but, yo, “Monalisa”, your two verses on that shit… It’s got to be, like, one of the top five verses of all time.

Wayne: Man, thank you, man!

Marshall: And I love when rappers are able to tell a story and don’t compromise any of the punchlines. […] Man, I just want to tell you, man it’s great to see you and me still doing it.

Wayne: It shows the beauty of what we do, period.

Marshall: Yeah man, it’s definitely an art to this shit and, man, you had it mastered.

Wayne: Likewise, man.

As one can get from the following Em’s quote, Lil Wayne’s music seems to attract Marshall by things he loves to put in his art himself:

You know, some people have a set up to get to the punchline and […] I told you the first time we met I was like every every line is the punchline! Every single line […] And that’s art to it…
