Lil Wayne Interviews Eminem!

The “I Am Music” compilation showcases the best moments of Lil Wayne’s career, and “Drop the World” feat. Eminem is one of its highlights.

The list of artists featured on the project is not excessively long but star-studded: DMX, Jay-Z, Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Bruno Mars, and Eminem.

This is Lil Wayne’s first greatest hits collection, so the selection process must have been daunting. Yet it is even more recognition from the artist to include this joint. However, choosing “Drop the World” for the release had to be easy. This third single released from Lil Wayne’s seventh studio album, “Rebirth” (2010), is arguably the most acclaimed and beloved song on the album. The song got an additional boost in popularity when Em and Weezy performed it live at the 52nd Grammy Awards in 2010. The RIAA certified the track 5x Platinum in 2022. It has over 200 million streams on Spotify with the official visuals closing in on 300 million views on YouTube.
