“Lace It” has officially passed 120 million streams, earning Juice WRLD his 61st song over the mark and Eminem his 85th overall and 17th as a featured artist.
The track, released in December 2023 as the lead single from Juice WRLD’s posthumous album “The Party Never Ends”, has become a standout success. Currently, the track is gaining more than 100,000 streams per day, making it the second most-streamed song on the album.
The song was produced by Benny Blanco, Happy Perez, and Cashmere Cat, with Eminem contributing additional production. On it, Juice reflects on the dark effects of substance use, while Eminem delivers a sobering verse honouring artists lost to addiction — including Juice WRLD himself.
Juice’s mother, Carmela Wallace, spoke about the collaboration in a press release:
“I can recall Jarad playing Eminem’s music on repeat at home because he was a huge fan. This is a bittersweet moment for me… I am happy that Jarad had a chance to make music with someone he admired and sad that he cannot be here to take in the moment”.
