Kim Mathers, Eminem’s ex-wife, is downsizing once again, listing her recently bought house.
This comes just a year after Kim sold her massive Detroit mansion, reportedly built by Em for their kids. That place fetched $1.35 million back in March 2023. With most kids out of the nest, Kim opted for a cosier four-bedroom property.
Financial documents obtained by The US Sun reveal an interesting twist in the story. The purchase of the four-bedroom property was made possible by a substantial $615,000 loan from Shady Games, Inc. Meanwhile, Shady Games is run by none other than Marshall Mathers himself, suggesting that he played a significant role in Kim’s real estate move last year.
Regardless of the loan situation, Kim’s on the move again, listing the four-bedroom for sale for under $540,000. This time, she’s opted for an even smaller place – a five-bedroom, single-story home that reportedly doesn’t involve a mortgage.
Kim and Eminem’s relationship has been a subject of close public scrutiny. Despite their tumultuous past, creatively reimagined in some of Eminem’s most intense lyrics, Kim assures fans that they are on good terms for the sake of their children, even if they do not see each other regularly.
The exes recently reunited for their adopted daughter Alaina’s wedding and are expected to come together again soon when Eminem will walk down the aisle her sister Hailie. It seems like family remains a priority for both Kim and Em.
